TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But factor into how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
